A Collection of Antique Jars [PhotoChain Challenge - 30th Edition]

Good Night, Hive Bees!

This is my entry for the PhotoChain Challenge: 30th Edition, hosted by @davidesimoncini.

The keyword for this edition is Glass, picked by the previous winners @adinapoli and @melinda010100. Yep, they both picked the same word. čśü

For this week's challenge I chose a photo taken at an antique shop in the little town of Banská Štiavnica, in Slovakia. There were all kinds of different stuff available... and things made of glass and porcelain were everywhere to be found.

I particularly enjoyed this collection of old jars of medicinal and chemical products since they all had different sizes and shapes.

Everything on this shop was for sale... even though most of this stuff would probably be hanging on the shelves for a lifetime or two. Not only they are products with very little demand... but they are being sold in a little town which it's not a big touristic center.

This is a shop worth visiting, though. Besides all the cool stuff you'll find on display, the owner is a funny and friendly young guy who even offers you a cup of coffee, while you're waiting for him to go fetch a machine so you can pay with a Visa card. čśä
